Virginia American Muslim Civic Coalition

We are an independent, non-partisan group concerned with domestic issues which directly affect the VA Muslim American community’s livelihood. We focus on issues of Civil Rights, Civil Liberties, Education, the Economy, Banking Reform, Environmental issues, Immigration and Health Care Reform. Our scoring of the candidates will be based primarily on these issues and a candidate’s history of support for and positive interaction with the American Muslim community.

Gathering and Remembrance for Mukit Hossain -Dec. 4 ADAMS Center

Assalamu alaikum

Insha Allah this Saturday, December 4
the community is invited to gather at the ADAMS Center
in memory of our beloved friend, brother, teacher, and leader

Mukit Hossain

who passed away last Saturday.

Friends and family are welcome to read Qur'an, make dua,
and share with one another the many ways Mukit touched our lives.

The program will consist of:

Maghrib 4:49pm
Qur'an Recitation/Dua : 5pm-6pm
Sharing and Remembrance Time: 6pm-7pm
7pm-8pm - Dinner
Isha - 8pm

We can't be with you this evening, but we will make du'a for Br. Mukit's family and all those who were touched by his many good works.
