Habitat for Our Homeless: Call for Donations & Volunteers

InshaAllah, on March 17th Muslimat Al Nisaa will be hosting a community service event entitled “Habitat for Our Homeless”, and we need your help.

Muslimat Al-Nisaa Shelter has been blessed with a house owned by the late Dr. Maryam Funches, who dedicated her life assisting those in need. This brick house has solid foundations and could provide much needed shelter to families in need.

However, we need your help to turn this valuable resource into a refuge. Prior to any occupation, the house needs a new roof and other less substantial but equally significant repairs.

Do you have construction materials you could donate?

Are you available to help clean and repair this house?

Do you have the skills/knowledge necessary to lead a crew of volunteers?

If the answer to at least one of these questions is yes then please -

Help make a difference by volunteering your time and skills.
