Building Common Ground: Discussions of Community, Civility and Compassion Interfaith Panel

Inspired by Karen Armstrong’s TED Prize wish, the Chinn Park Regional Library will be hosting a:

Building Common Ground: Discussions of Community, Civility and Compassion Interfaith Panel on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 2:00 PM.

Leaders from Dar alHijrah, Dar Al-Noor, The Durga Temple, Wat Lao Buddhavong, Covenant Presbyterian Church, and  Congregation Ner Shalom 

They will share their faith’s views on compassion and what actions can be taken to increase compassion in our daily lives. The event will be moderated by our Sr. Taalibah Hassan and Unity in the Community Chairperson,Kathy MacNevin Clark.
